EMMERDALE's Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) has been hiding an explosive secret…

The mystery of "Who Killed ?" (Gillian Kearney) still hangs over the , with viewers no closer to figuring out who the murderer really is.

While (Ashley Thomas) is still the bookies' favourite to have pushed the soap psycho off the viaduct, Laurel is looking more and more guilty.

A few weeks back, viewers learned she lied to the police about her whereabouts on the day of Emma's murder, having booked a train ticket back from her sister's.

And whatever she's hiding, only Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) seems to know what's going on, with Emmerdale fans speculating that two are having an affair.

Suspicions are aroused when son Arthur (Alfie Clarke) says he wants to attend the ceremony, with a furious Laurel suggesting he's forgiven her after she tormented his father (John Middleton).

Laurel is then spotted by Gabby pleading with a photo of the ex-vicar, asking him to forgive her.

While things are looking bad already for Laurel, they're only set to get worse when the police haul her into the station for further questioning after she's caught in a rather incriminating photograph.
