Lions Club of Bokaro Thermal and DVC, BTPS at Bokaro Thermal on Sunday did a major service to kids athletes at Vivekananda football ground. Early this morning members of Lions Club, Bokaro Thermal and officials of DVC which included Ln U.K. Nair, Ln B. Laxaminih, Ln Binod Bhatia, Ln Dharam Singh, P.K. Singh ,Adl director HR ,Ramesh Kumar, visited football ground and spent more than two hours with the children and distributed fruits to them.
With 200 children from different school of Bokaro Thermal and its surrounding areas, Lions Club members distributed fruits to all of the excited children who had good interaction with Lions members.
The club president UK Nair and DVC official addressed the children and said the theme of the event was ‘joy of childhood’ and it was the most precious time in everybody’s life. They appreciated the work of coaches, as the event would not have been possible, they added. The club secretary B Laximinih encouraged the kids who participated in sports events and the club dedicated itself for the betterment of the society and also said that they will come in the ground from time to time for the encouragement of the children.
