PATARoyal Brunei Airlines, the national carrier of Brunei Darussalam, has joined the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

PATA CEO Dr. Mario Hardy said, “We are extremely pleased to welcome Royal Brunei Airlines to the PATA family as our newest aviation member. I look forward to working with them as they seek to build both brand and business in the Asia Pacific region by taking full advantage of PATA’s extensive network and the in-depth research and insights provided by the Association’s Strategic Intelligence Centre. This is especially important as most travellers are unaware of Brunei’s beautiful unspoiled nature parks, walking trails and beaches – the perfect ingredients with which to develop successful and sustainable ecotourism.”

“Joining PATA is definitely an exciting feat for Royal Brunei and we look forward to working with the association. We are also especially excited to utilise this platform to further promote and develop Brunei as a tourist destination,” said Karam Chand, Royal Brunei Airlines CEO.

Established in 1974, Royal Brunei Airlines is the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei. Based at Brunei International Airport in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan, Royal Brunei utilises a fleet of narrow and wide-body Airbus and Boeing aircrafts to operate a network of services throughout Asia, the Middle East, Australia and the United Kingdom.
