SA youthsAn exciting opportunity at the South African Department of Tourism awaits young unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 35. If a job seeker has finished their tertiary education in the tourism, statistics or any related field, you can be considered as a Tourism Data Collector.

 
Applicants should have a minimum NQF Level five qualification, or a higher qualification, national diploma or degree, and they should be South African citizens.

 
The closing date for applications is Monday, 4 December. Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo an interview process, to distinguish between the deserving candidates and the opportunists. The department intends to remain representative in terms of race, gender and disability, through its training opportunities.

 
The duration of the programme will be 12 months, and interested graduates are required to register their curriculum vitae with the Department of Labour’s database on Employment System of South Africa (Essa) and bear in mind that they have to have an email account to register their CVs on Essa.
