LeT claim responsibility for Kashmir highway attack

SRINAGAR:  Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack on Army convoy in Kulgam on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Monday afternoon.

A spokesman for the outfit told local media that Bashir Lashkeri squad was involved in the attack and claimed that four security personnel were killed and several others injured. He warned more such attacks.

However, officials said an encounter ensued after militants attacked Army at Bonigam Kulgam in which a soldier was injured. (AGENCIES)
