Panaji: Goa Foundation which took the state government to the Supreme Court in the alleged illegal mining scam, on Monday, said that the Goa Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has no alternative but to shut down the operations of the South West Port Limited (SWPL) for handling an excess amount of 5.987 million metric tonnes (MMT) per annum of coal at Mormugao Port Trust.
