New Delhi: MSK Prasad led selection committee has announced a relatively inexperienced squad for the upcoming three match T20I series versus Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli, as expected has been rested from the series, and Rohit Sharma has been handed the responsibility of leading the team.

Youngsters like Washington Sundar, Deepak Hooda and Basil Thampi have been rewarded for their consistent performances, while Mohammad Siraj has been retained after the New Zealand series. Another surprise inclusion is that of Jaydev Unadkat.

India will play three T20Is in Cuttack, Indore and Mumbai.
