Car FLIES at 120mph as team of skydivers film epic stunt

THIS is the moment a group of skydivers drive through the sky in an extremely dangerous stunt.

The crew, known as Team Mission X, created some gripping footage that saw them jump out of a plane and fly a vehicle through the sky.

Recorded in Arizona, USA, the clip shows members of the group casually free-falling a Honda Civic and a Nissan Sentra out of the back of an aircraft.

Capable of speeds of up to 169mph on the ground, the cars were stripped down to their foundations in a 300 hour “teardown”.

They were then loaded on to a plane and four members casually "drove" them out the back.

FLYING: The team of skydivers successfully pulled the stunt off

The cars, falling through a 120mph wind, can be seen moving uncontrollably before the group make a swift evacuation.

From a safe distance, the crew then watch as the converted structures plunge into the wasteland – left as mere scraps of metal from the impact.

Miraculously, there were no major injuries despite some close calls.

This footage comes just a month after a British company developed the world's first flying car.

Konstantin Petrijcuk was the man behind the idea.

It has been his dream to throw a car out of a plane since he started skydiving 10 years ago.

Finally, he decided to bring a group of friends together to make a dream a reality.

The team of daredevils included Steve Curtis, who has flown more than 12 cars out of planes.

This isn’t the last you will see of them, either.

The adventurous group say they have plans for more similar projects in the future.
