Bourses continue downturn

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the second consecutive trading day of the week with downward trend on Monday.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 687 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 6,262 points decreasing 33 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,387 points increasing 4 points.

The DS30 index also declined 7 points to stand 2,266 points.

Of the issues traded today, 110 advanced, 184 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), turnover stood at Tk 31.73 crore.  

Selective Category Index - CSCX - lessining 94 points to stand at around 19,389 points.

Of the issues traded, 83 gained, 128 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
