Groundnut oil recovers on renewed demand
Mumbai, Dec 4 (PTI) Groundnut oil recovered smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein also gained further owing to good demand from retail buyers.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also rebounded due to fresh demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While, linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil rose by Rs 25 per 10 kg to Rs 925 from Last Saturday's close Rs 900 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 648 as against Rs 645, previously.
Moving the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold went-up by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 4,635 from last weekend's close Rs 4,615 and castoroil commercial moved up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 957 from Rs 953.
