Cape Town - The Volkswagen Polo Vivo topped the list as South Africa’s best-selling passenger car in November.
Missing the 2000-mark by a small margin, the Vivo sold 1900 units to solidify its position at the top of its segment.
VW vs Toyota
Filling the slot as SA’s second-best selling passenger car, the VW Polo comes in at second with 1848 units sold last month. The Toyota Corolla/Auris/Quest is third on 1711 units.
The Toyota Etios sold the fourth most units on 1541, ahead of the Ford EcoSport with 1324. The formidable sales tour de force that is the Toyota Fortuner takes sixth place with 1080.
In seventh place is the Ford Fiesta (1063 units), well ahead of the Kia Picanto; which sold 903 units.
The Hyundai i20 (819 units) and Renault Kwid (757 units) take the final two slots.
