Shares of Tata Motors ended higher on Monday after the auto major on Friday posted 57.67 per cent increase in total sales at 52,464 units in November.

Domestic sales of commercial vehicles (CV) jumped 71.91 per cent to 35,307 units last month as against 20,538 units in the same month last year.

The scrip gained 1.06 per cent to close at Rs 403.40 on BSE. Shares of the company opened at Rs 408 and touched a high and low of Rs 411 and Rs 402, respectively.

In another announcement, Tata Motors on December 2 said it has delivered 50 new buses to Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). The new delivery is a part of the larger order of 1,385 buses bagged by Tata Motors earlier this year, the company said in a statement.

On the BSE, 5.77 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against average daily volumes of 5.09 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock had hit 52-week high of Rs 553 on January 27, 2017 and 52-week low of Rs 357.95 on August 11, 2017.
