Demand raised for employment generation by Tel govt

A public meeting of the unemployed and others today demanded that the take steps for employment generation.

The meeting, named 'Koluvula kai Kotlata' (fight for jobs) which was led by Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman Kodandaram demanded that the state fill vacancies in the


JAC is an outfit comprising different organisations of people. The meeting was supported by the major opposition parties.

Senior T Jeevan Reddy alleged that the tried to fail the meeting.

Dismissing opposition allegations, state IT Minister said the was committed to filling 1.12 lakh jobs during its tenure.
