Dimapur, Dec. 3 (EMN): At the end of the first round of the Vijay Merchant (U-16) three-day matches’ tournament for the Northeast and Bihar Zone, Nagaland, Bihar and Meghalaya registered outright wins over their opponents.
The second round matches will start from Dec. 7 till the 9th at Dimapur, Shillong and Patna.
In Dimapur
Nagaland – 130 and 210 runs
Manipur – 126 and 119 runs
Nagaland won by 95 runs
In Shillong
Sikkim – 114 and 141 runs
Meghalaya – 263 runs
Meghalaya won by an innings and eight runs
In Patna
Arunachal Pradesh – 83 and 54 runs
Bihar – 1007 for seven declared
Bihar won by a record 870 runs.
