AIADMK poll work to pick up

CHENNAI: The ruling AIADMK’s election work will switch to top gear from Monday. The party generally forms a multi-member committee for undertaking election works in any by-election. For the counermanded April 12 bypoll in RK Nagar, such a panel was formed.

This time too, similar responsibilities have been allocated. Ministers who were in charge of April 12 by-election would continue in their position, except those who are with TTV Dhinakaran.

Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami is scheduled to address a public meeting at RK Nagar on December 6.
