South Korea fishing boat collides with a tanker

(MENAFN)South Korea coast guard said that a collision between a fishing boat and a taker killed thirteen people at the east coast, and the coast guard is still searching for two others who went missing after the crash.

The 336-ton fuel tanker crashed with the Seonchang-1 fishing boat that was carrying 20 passengers taking them on a fishing tour at around 6am at sea near the port city of Incheon.

According to the coast guard, thirteen people were found dead or died after being sent to hospitals. Seven others were escorted to hospitals and are still under treatment and two- including the captain of the boat- are still missing.

Reports say that those who were on board the tanker have not been injured and all have survived.
