East London - A 49-year-old man was shot dead and his wife left critically injured after an attack in their home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.
“The… man was found dead at the scene, while the woman in her forties was taken to hospital,” said Captain Nkosikho Mzuku in a statement.
The crime took place on Saturday night in their home.
It was not clear what led to the shooting, or who was responsible.
A case of murder and attempted murder was being investigated, Mzuku said.
