Four persons including one child died while four others injured in separate road accident in Bokaro district on Friday night.
An eight-year-old child died when a speeding tractor crushed the child to death at Araldih panchyat under Jaridih police station. Police sized the tractor and a case has been lodged at local police station.
While in another incident Bahadur Vishwakarma (18) a resident of Darid village under Paterwar Police Station died after an unidentified speeding vehicle crushed him to death near Uttarsara village on NH 23 at Paterwar, police said.
Demanding compensation irked villagers blocked the road on the spot of the accident. Suddenly at that time when the villagers blocked the road, a speeding Haiwa (JH 02 A 5334) coming towards form Gola hit a bike (TN 20 0371) which resulted into death of both bike riders while one got multiple injuries.
The deceased were identified as Mantu Marandi and Manoj Marandi, residents of Jorabera under Jaridih police station. While Mukesh Hemberam the third bike rider is alive and treating his wound at local hospital, said an eyewitness.
Another accident reported under same police station, an SUV car (JH 09 AF 1561) collided with a coal-laden Haiwa on NH 23 near Jaridih police station resulted into multiple injuries to the three, travelling to Bokaro from Hazaribagh in the car. With help of police injured were rushed to the hospital.
