Maintain transparency in dev plans: Bhagat

Union Minister cum Lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat today presided over the meeting of district development, co-ordination and vigilance committee held at collectrate office here. In the meeting a sequential review of progress of the development plans of several departments was taken.

 “The development plans must be completed in prescribed time period with transparency,” Bhagat said expressing some anguish on absence of the Executive Engineer of Municipal Council Ganga Ram Thakur. He also instructed to call another meeting within a week and take quick action against illegal mining.

In the meeting a review of  several plans was done included MGNREGA PM Aawas Yojna, Clean India Mission, PM Ujjawala Yojna, Digital Yojna, Hondaga bridge construction and over Banda river, Agrasen path construction, Jima Path construction, road construction from Somwar Bazar to Palmerganj chowk, illegal mining of bauxite, repairing of road from Palmerganj to Mission Chowk.

DC Binod Kumar, SP Rajkumar Lakra, district council president Sunaina Kumari and municipal chairperson Pawan Ekka were also present in the meeting. After that the inauguration of Lamps office to buy paddy was also done by the minister. Bhagat told that the supporting value of the rice was 17 Rs per kg. On the occasion SDO Raj Maheshwaram and BJP district head Rajmohan Ram were also present.
