Girl depressed over weight immolates self in Andhra 

VIZIANAGARAM: Depressed over being overweight, a 25-year-old BTech graduate committed suicide by setting her afire at a real estate layout near Dwarapudi village of Vizianagaram mandal on Friday evening.  Battling for life for a few hours, she died while undergoing treatment at Vizianagaram Government Hospital on Friday late night. 

According to police, M Aswini (25), a resident of Vizianagaram mandal was suffering from depression for she was being overweight and had been attending aerobics classes. Upon information, police shifted Aswini with severe burns to Vizianagaram Government Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment at around 10 pm. A friend of Aswini, requesting anonymity, said that the girl was taking medicines to lose weight.
