Hideo Kojima revealed his upcoming game Death Stranding at E3 2016, which Del Toro is involved with. It's almost certain now that Del Toro will reveal something new about the upcoming game at the award show. We've had a few updates since then, including how it will release before 2019 and could include a female hero alongside Norman Reedus.
For more on Death Stranding, check out the reveal trailer here and a second trailer here.
Our TakeThe Game Awards is a platform that Kojima used last year as well to shed more light on Death Stranding. We haven't heard a whole lot this year about the title, especially since it was a no show at E3. It seems likely that The Game Awards will be showing off some gameplay of the mysterious game.
