Palanpur: Three persons were arrested by police from Vijapur on Saturday night for raping three minor tribal girls who worked in an oil industry at Ladol in Mehsana district. Accused Subhan Sindhi (30); Nasirkhan Jalal Khan (40) and Jasubkhan Isaq Khan (40), who are natives of Barmer district in Rajasthan, have been booked under IPC section 376, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Prevention of Atrocities Act. The rape survivors were taken to Civil Hospital in Mehsana for medical examination on Sunday.

Of the three girls, two are real sisters while the other is daughter of their father's friend. "The three accused had gang-raped the three minor girls on November 24 and 25. The girls along with the father of two girls who are tribals were brought from Chikla village of Udaipur district in Rajasthan to work as daily wage labourers. Subhankhan Sindhi (30) got them work at the oil industry on November 21 and meanwhile Ranchodji went to his village after two days leaving the girls in a room in the factory premises. Since the girls were alone, Sindhi and his two friends raped them there on November 24 and 25," said CB Chauhan, police sub-inspector of Ladol police station.

The sisters informed their father on mobile about the incident and soon Ranchodji returned to Ladol. Sindhi thrashed the girls for informing their father about gang rape and tried to get the matter hushed-up along with his accomplices. Meanwhile, Ranchodji approached the police and got the complaint of the minor girls registered.
