ABU DHABI: H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, attended the official ceremony to celebrate UAE's 46th National Day anniversary, which was held in Abu Dhabi last night.

Sheikha Fatima expressed pride over the UAE's journey for development, the foundation of which was laid by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and is being carried forward by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

"The achievements we witness today in the UAE reflect the people's loyalty to their country and to their leadership, who spared no effort in providing decent living standards and happiness to them," Sheikha Fatima said.

The celebrations featured a panorama show entitled 'The Future Is Here', which highlighted the UAE's roadmap for re-shaping the future by preparing highly qualified generations to consolidate the UAE's progress.
