Nagpur: Sakkardara police have busted an inter-state gang of dacoits from Jharkhand and arrested four of them from Bahadur area here along with three juvenile accused. The dacoits armed with weapons were sitting in darkness in the ground behind Surbhi Bar on Bahadur Umrer road, planning dacoity in city.

The police surrounded them and arrested four of them. Those arrested are Deepak Chabhru Noniya, 31, Mahadeo varan Sahabganj, Mohammad Irshad Ansari Naushad Ansari, 19, Purapatta, Talzari, Sahabganj, Ramu Mahto Dilip Mahto, 29, Maharajapur Naya Tola,Suraj Kumar Babulal Mandal, 25, Maharajapur Naya Tola, all accused are from Jharkhand. Along with these four dacoits 3 juveniles have also been arrested.

According to police sources, Police Sub Inspoector Manoj Orke, 32 had got a tip off at around 8 pm that the dacoits were planning a big dacoity sitting in the ground behind Surbhi Bar. PSI Orke immediately informed his senior officials. After this the PSI along with other staff members started for the place. Seeing the police they were about flee but since they were surrounded by police they could not escape and were caught along with the juveniles. The police have recovered from them10 mobiles of various companies, rope, chilli powder, knife, sword and Rs 2500 including things worth Rs 1.09 lakh. The police produced them in court.

PI Pawar has registered a case of dacoity. Earlier too police had caught accused from Jharkhand .
