Afghanistan-3-people-killed-8-hurt-in-Jalalabad-backtoback-blasts

(MENAFN - Pajhwok Afghan News) JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Three people were killed and eight others injured as a result of three consecutive blasts in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, an officials said.

The first blast happened in a Rickshaw near Sultanzoy Market in the limits of fourth municipality district followed by two more blasts. The first blast inflicted no casualties while the last two left three people dead and eight other injured.

Governor spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said the Enakas Radio Television building was closed to the site of blast, but the facility was secured and no damage inflicted to it.

According to another reliable source the second blast happened when security forces arrived at the site. One policeman was killed and three personnel of National Directorate of Security () were injured.
