Calling it the "struggle of backwardness and opportunism", the paper said that the end of Sanaa scenario is like what is surely expected between members of any criminal band or thieves. Recent quarrels between the Houthis and Saleh troops was not a surprise to observers, who, from the beginning, see them as two criminals who each of them is trying to deceive his partner as well. The Houthis were thinking that they would use Saleh to overwhelm the country with their extremist ideology while Saleh was dreaming to restore his lost presidency in Yemen. So, the partnership was so shaky that any obstacle on the road would derail it and send it downwards before one day seen nose-diving.
However, the progress the Yemeni national army and popular resistance, with the support of the Arab Coalition, are making on the ground even though it is one of the factors expediting the differences and weakness of the coup partnership, is not going to wait for their collapse. On the contrary, the Yemeni army and Coalition is now on the verge of liberating Nahm province, a step heading directly to the besiege of Sanaa. Then, the it was a matter of few time for collapse of the usurping regime or storming the capital and restoring legitimacy on all parts of Yemen, Okaz concluded.
