Computer Age Management Services (CAMS), a registrar and transfer agent for mutual funds today said it has set up a new data centre in Coimbatore that would create 450 additional jobs in that city.
The new data centre with technology infrastructure has been set up for supporting the growth in the mutual fund industry.
With this expansion, CAMS plans to create 450 additional jobs by March 2018 and increase the workforce by over 750, the city-based company said in a statement.
"At CAMS, adding value to the key stakeholders through our clients, investors and distributors is a continuous process.. Our thrust on innovation, robust technology platform and realtime connectivity assures high standard of services," CAMS, Asset Management Services, Deputy CEO, Anuj Kumar said.
"The new centre (in Coimbatore) is a testament to this commitment.. Coimbatore has been very conducive to build on the BCP (business community plan) capabilities," he said.
