Barcelona were heavy favourites to secure another domestic victory, with Vigo labouring in mid-table.

And despite goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, the Nou Camp side couldn’t secure victory.

Messi was called upon to cancel out Iago Aspas’ 20th-minute opener as Celta silenced the Nou Camp.

Aspas scrambled home after beating the offside trap but Messi levelled two minutes later when rounding off a flowing move.

Suarez then put the league leaders in front when tapping home Jordi Alba’s centre.
