The festive line-up of cultural performances in Nagpur has left the connoisseurs spoilt for choice as these events continue to draw large crowds. One such affair was a recently organised Bharatanatyam performance by Ishani Jaiswal at a city auditorium that left the audience mesmerised.
With gracility and poise, the 21-year old dancer had put forth a mesmerising performance with her animated moves on various margams for two-and-a-hours continuously.
Ishani's guru and known Bharatanatyam teacher Ratnam Janardhanan was beaming with pride at the event as she said, "It took Ishani ten years to get ready for her first public performance and she left us spellbind. Months ago, she had met with an accident, but her passion for Bharatanatyam, drove her towards her dream to perform in public. This was a performance of a dedicated artiste."
