Donald Trump's lawyer, Ty Cobb, has made a lot of mistakes, including the decision to represent Donald Trump. But among his weirder moves is using navy blue Comic Sans.
On Friday, Cobb released a statement regarding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, who pled guilty to lying to the FBI in an interview that later came to be a part of Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
Soon after, Sahil Kapur, a national political reporter for Bloomberg, tweeted out a screenshot of Cobb's statement (which, of course, does not take into account the likely possibility that Flynn has flipped).

People immediately noticed that godforsaken font. Was this the #1 thing to notice here? Debatable. But notice people did.

A few people asked Kapur to clarify that Cobb had, in fact, sent the statement in Comic Sans. He confirmed — the crime was real.

Then, of course, the Comic Sans jokes ensued. Here are a few of the highlights, presented in a font that is not Comic Sans.
Symbolism. He represents a child.

Don't nobody have Times New Roman for that.

I have a 7-year-old who thinks Ty Cobb's choice of font is 💯 💯 💯.

Ty Cobb writes letters in comic sans. Even more proof we're living a simulation. https://t.co/AnwsGywzPW

Trump’s attorney literally issued a statement in comic sans. In a vaudeville show, this is the part where someone’s dragged offstage with a giant hook. https://t.co/dFISJUuTQT
