On December 1, music sensation Jonathan Cavier released his new remix album, "Blue Room," which is available on all digital retailers.
This marks his third solo studio album, and it is comprised of new mixes, where he worked with acclaimed engineer NicoEssig, who has worked such distinguished musical acts as Katy Perry, Paul McCartney of The Beatles and Goo Goo Dolls. The CD was remastered at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, California.
Blue Room (remix) opens with the upbeat and mid-tempo title cut "Blue Room," and it is followed by the smooth "When You Come Around," which is an addicting track, and the uplifting "Hollywood." Other noteworthy tunes are the inspirational "I Believe," which is filled with raw emotions, as well as "Someday." The songs are so versatile, which makes it hard to select a personal favorite.
In addition, the Blue Room remix album features two previously unreleased songs, the refreshing "Thank You Letter" and the melodically stunning "Everything in Our Dreams," which is an added bonus.
The Verdict
Overall, Jonathan Cavier's new remix album is worth more than just a passing glance. Anybody who enjoyed the original versions of these songs, will certainly love the remixes. It is warm, rich and impressive. There is something in it for everybody. It is evident that this project was a labor of love for Cavier, and this collection earns an A rating.
