British Citizenship Test: Can you answer ALL the quiz questions Meghan Markle will face?

BRITISH Citizenship Tests are one of the criteria for becoming a citizen or settling in the UK. But with a one in three people fail rate, would you pass?

Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33 announced their engagement last week, and, after revealing their wedding will take place in May 2018, discussion over the Suits star taking a British Citizenship Test to become a UK citizen has now arisen.

Reports say the American actress will take the test before she marries Prince Harry.

While the questions are assumed easy, figures obtained by the Manchester Evening News earlier this year revealed one in three people fail the test.

Across England 12, 925 tests were taken in 2016 with 36 per cent of people failing. But do you reckon you could answer all the questions correctly?

Playbuzz has created its own British citizenship test and you need 75 per cent to pass.

There are 15 questions in total and a range of different topics are covered.

The first question is ‘where is prehistoric monument stonehenge?’

Possible answers include Somerset, Lincolnshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Other questions ask ‘who is the patron saint of Wales?’, How long Ramadan lasts, and when women get the same voting rights as men.

The questions may seem basic, but the questions are much harder than you think.

When Meghan passes the test she will become compliant with all immigration laws in the UK, but she will still be able to retain her US citizenship.

The American actress will presumably take the British Citizenship Test within the next few months with her marriage to Prince Harry due to happen in May next year.

It was revealed by Kensington Palace on Tuesday the couple will marry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The Royal family will pay for the wedding, which will include the church service, the music, the flowers and the reception.

But the wedding venue will not come as a surprise for many, as St George’s Chapel has seen the wedding of many royal in the past
