ABU DHABI: The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has called the motorists to exercise caution due to fog formation on different parts on the country during the next days.
In a statement issued by the NCMS of Friday, the center expects that weather on Saturday will be humid during the night and early morning, with chances of fog formation on some inland and southern areas. It may be also partly cloudy, as clouds are expected to increase over the northern parts and coasts, while it will be dusty during the day. The winds will be northwesterly, moderate to active, and strong at times on the sea, stirring up dust on the exposed areas. The sea is expected to be rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in the Gulf of Oman, according to the statement. .
From Sunday to Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and occasionally cloudy. Low clouds will increase over different areas with probability of rainfall over the sea. It may extend to some coastal areas and western islands, especially on Sunday and Monday. The winds will be easterly to northeasterly over the northern and eastern parts. It will be moderate to active, and strong at times on the sea, stirring up dust on the exposed areas. The sea is expected to be rough in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to become generally mild on Tuesday, the NCMS added.
