Barcelona will likely bid for Liverpool star Coutinho again next month, having failed to land the Brazil international during the summer.

But Spanish website Don Balon claim not everybody in Catalonia is enthused about the arrival of the 25-year-old.

It is said that some Barcelona players have been left stunned to learn that Coutinho will pocket a salary of around £12million a year should he make the move to La Liga.

And none more so than Roberto, who is hurt to know how much Barcelona value the Liverpool star.

Roberto is in the midst of contract negotiations with the club, who have so far been unable to tie him down.

But he is supposedly now rethinking the decision to commit his future.

Roberto, a midfielder also capable of playing at the back, is likely to find minutes hard to come by in the middle of the park should Coutinho come in.

And that means a move to Manchester United could happen.

Don Balon say the Red Devils are in pole position to sign Roberto should he decide to quit Barcelona.

But Liverpool are also keen.

The Reds have reportedly told Barcelona they want Roberto included in any Coutinho bid.

However, whether the La Liga giants dance to that tune remains to be seen.
