Manchester United have long been interested in Bale and tried to sign him from Spurs when the winger moved to Real back in 2013.

Mourinho is reportedly still interested and the fact Zinedine Zidane's side have plenty of replacements ready to come to the Bernabeu could provide a boost to the Red Devils in their pursuit.
