UFC president Dana White has expressed his concern over Conor McGregor's recent behaviour, likening it to that of former light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
"He’s a young, rich kid who is a god in Ireland,” the UFC chief said. “That’s not the healthiest environment either. It’s all part of it. I don’t know if you guys remember in the very beginning with Jon Jones.
“There’s no doubt the talent was there. I used to go, ‘The guy is talented, but he’s young, he’s rich, he’s the king of the world now. Hopefully, he can keep it together.’ That was way before the crazy shit started to happen. And there it is. It happens.
“What’s weird is it happens more in this sport, in fighting, in the fighting business, more than any other sport."

Meanwhile, McGregor's father, Tony, has brushed off talk of his son's life is being danger following an alleged pub brawl last weekend.
“It’s an absolute nonsense story," he told the Irish Mirror "It’s grown legs and it’s getting that ridiculous – it’s become funny.
“We have nothing to fear here whatsoever. There’s no one after us for anything.”
And finally, White has revealed he won't try to force McGregor to fight if he decides to hang up his gloves.
“Do you know how many people, including Iole and all kinds of people over the last however many years, have been telling me, 'Georges St-Pierre is your biggest star. Don’t tell me you don’t want Georges St-Pierre to fight again.’” he said.

“Everybody says to me, ‘You have to want this guy to fight, you’ve got to want this guy to fight.' I don’t want anybody to fight, unless they want to fight.
“This isn’t a business where you can just make people fight. You either want it, or you don’t. And that was my big thing with GSP. He wasn’t acting like a guy who really wants it. At the end of the day, I’m going to run this business with or without anybody.”
