Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar Campus began its Annual Cultural Festival with great passion and delight. The annual function was based on the theme ‘Yugaantar’– a most expressive nature, idealistic and inspirational strong inner urge of service to uplift humanity.
Shutapa Paul, Senior Editor, Forbes India, CEO of New Corps was the esteemed Chief Guest on the occasion and Vishesh Kumar Shrivastava, Zonal Manager MP-CG, Punjab National Bank, was the Guest of Honor.
The guests were welcomed by staff members, students, teachers in a traditional way accompanied by school band ‘Symphony’.
The annual day celebrations began by seeking blessings of ‘Maa Saraswati’ and lighting of ceremonial lamp followed by floral welcome of esteemed Guests by Chairman Sudhir Kumar Agrawal and Principal Madhubala Chauhan. Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal, Managing Director, Sagar Group, Sagar Agarwal, Director, Sagar Group, Pawan Grover, Executive Director, Sagar Group of Institutions, governing members of Sagar Public School, Honorable Parents, School Principals, guests and invitees were also present on the occasion.
‘Yugaantar’ was exhibited in form of a journey of humanity through four Yugas by the students. Students showcased Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga and Kali Yuga in form of Brahmanaad, Utpatti, Aureate Epoch, Eishah Aashish, Uttishta Jagruta, Jagkalyanaarth, Peaceable Hope, Advitya Roopam shows. Sagarites expressed humanity by displaying values of trust, friendship, teamwork, honesty, courage, compassion, determination, self discipline, kindness, positivity, endurance, respect, adaptability etc.
Each Yugas presented by students demonstrated the social message of ‘Humanity is Our Religion.’
A memento was presented to Chief Guest Shutapa Paul, Vishesh Kumar Shrivastava, Guest of Honour and MN Parmar, Circle Head, Punjab National Bank as Special Guest of Honour by Sudhir Kumar Agrawal, Chairman, Sagar Group, Siddharth Sudhir Agrawal, Managing Director, Sagar Group and Pawan Grover, Executive Director, Sagar Group of Institutions.
