Liquor was being smuggled by the First Response Vehicle (FRV) of the Police Dial-100 service. The driver was caught with liquor of expensive brand Vicky Factory area of Jhansi road police station.
When the driver was inquired, he cleared that there is a marriage in his family, so he has brought liquor from Ghatigao for the guests coming in the house. The police has registered a case against the FRV driver.
TI Deepak Yadav of Jhansi Road police station was informed that liquor is being smuggled by Dail-100 FRV posted on the Shyopur trijunction of Mohana. After receiving the information, the FRV was stopped at the Vicky Factory trijunction and checked, sealed bottles of liquor were found kept in a sack.
The police has arrested driver Girraj Rana, driver of Dial-100 FRV resident of Ratwai village, as well as seized the FRV. Driver Girraj told Mohana Police Control Room that he had to go to Gwalior for servicing of the FRV. So he bought alcohol and came to Gwalior.
