ARSENAL news is coming thick and fast ahead of today's showdown with Manchester United and Express Sport is on hand to bring you all of the latest.
Arsenal news LIVE updates: All of the latest from the Emirates
Saturday December 2
Sanchez to Man Utd
11:46: Manchester United are interested in signing Alexis Sanchez.
That is according to the Telegraph, who claim the Arsenal star is on United’s radar.
Manchester City failed to sign Sanchez in the summer and are expected to go back in for him.
But the free transfer this summer has attracted United’s attention, as has Mesut Ozil.
Mertesacker hails Ramsey
10:20: Arsenal skipper Per Mertesacker has heaped praise on Aaron Ramsey ahead of today’s clash with Manchester United.
"Aaron Ramsey made two of our goals against Huddersfield," says Mertesacker in today’s matchday programme.
"He’s fully fit and he makes a huge physical contribution to our play, which everyone knows he’s capable of.
"When Aaron’s fit, he’s magnificent. He’s been efficient lately and is really coming back to his best.
"Aaron’s contributions in the final third were impressive but in the final half hour, I thought that was replicated by the whole team. That’s what we’re capable of, and that’s what we want to see more of.
"We know that we can improve but we’re taking lessons from every single game, both offensively and defensively. At the moment we look desperate to keep a clean sheet in every game, and that’s what you want to see."
Ince on Arsenal vs Man Utd
10:10: Paul Ince reckons Arsenal and Manchester United will draw 2-2 today.
"I went to the Arsenal match in the week and, even they won 5-0, they weren’t overly convincing," Ince told Express Sport.
"The scoreline flattered them, and defensively they weren’t great.
"I think both teams will concede goals, and this should be an entertaining one."
Ozil drops Real hint
09:25: Mesut Ozil might just fancy a return to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Arsenal contract rebel is expected to leave the Emirates next summer.
And he’s now revealed he’s in touch with Real boss Zinedine Zidane.
"When I got to Real Madrid and met him, my hands were sweating and I was nervous,” Ozil told German outlet Football Mgzn.
"But Zidane was very kind and positive. We still have contact from time to time."
Pogba admission
08:45: Paul Pogba has revealed he supported Arsenal as a kid.
"In France, they were very big - they had a lot of French players," the Manchester United star told the BBC’s Football Focus.
"I was a big fan of Arsenal, Thierry Henry, I was watching him.
"I was a little fan, not a crazy fan, but I was watching a lot of Arsenal games.
"They have always been a great club."

Arsenal vs Man Utd prediction
08:05: Arsenal and Manchester United will draw 1-1 today, according to Liverpool hero Mark Lawrenson.
"This is a huge game, between two sides in the top six who are in good form, so you know what I am going for here - a 1-1 draw," Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
"The Gunners, in particular, are flying but I am still waiting for the moment where they slip up.
"United are on a good run too of course, but it is the sort of fixture where you look at the way Arsenal are playing and think Jose Mourinho would take a point.
"That is what I think he will play for and I don't think Mourinho will care if a draw means Manchester City extend their lead at the top of the table.
"He will look at this game in isolation, and see a point as a good result."
Mourinho on Ozil
07:15: Jose Mourinho kept his cards close to his chest when asked about a potential move for Mesut Ozil.
The Manchester United gaffer has been tipped to swoop for the Arsenal star having coached him at Real Madrid.
And yesterday he was asked about the chances of a deal happening when Ozil's contract expires.
Mourinho opted to stay coy though, replying "no comment" when the possible transfer was put to him.
Mourinho and Ozil will come face-to-face when United visit Arsenal this evening.
Mahrez transfer revelation
6:30: Riyad Mahrez has revealed he met Arsenal chief Dick Law to discuss a move from Leicester in 2016.
"I don't know what happened," he told the Daily Mail.
"It's football. You never know what will happen.
"N'Golo [Kante] had a clause and when he left they stopped those clauses.
"They said they would never give one to anyone after that.
"They didn't want to sell me. They said, ‘Yes, (there will be) no problem if something comes up.’
"But behind the scenes they were blocking stuff — talking to clubs but just not wanting to sell me."
