Pogba was born in Lagny-sur-Marne, France, in 1993 but it was a club on the other side of the English Channel which gained his affinity.
The Gunners were blessed with French stars such as Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires and Thierry Henry throughout the 2000s, drawing young Pogba’s attentions to north London.
However, the midfielder’s first break in football came in another shade of Red at Old Trafford.
He made his professional debut for United before being released in 2012 - only to return four years later in an £89million deal.
Now he is the heartbeat of Jose Mourinho’s side which are genuine title contenders.

And ahead of the game, Pogba revealed that he has a soft spot for Arsene Wenger’s side.
"In France, they were very big - they had a lot of French players," Pogba told BBC’s Football Focus.
"I was a big fan of Arsenal, Thierry Henry, I was watching him.
"I was a little fan, not a crazy fan, but I was watching a lot of Arsenal games.
"They have always been a great club."
