Puttur: A Two-Year-Old kid lost his life after drowning in a pond located nearby to his home in Puttur.

The victim was identified as Shaurya.

Sources said that the kid was residing with his parents in Bengaluru. In view to spend holidays, they had been to Puttur to their home. It is suspected that the incident might have taken place when a kid ran behind his grandfather who was going near the pond, and as a result slipped and drowned.

A case has been registered in Puttur police station.
