Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi and Chief Minister V Narayanasamy today extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to the Muslim brethren and to the people of the Union Territory.
"Milad un Nabi, the birthday of Holy Prophet Mohammad is an occasion that inspires humans to embrace humanity with open heart and share the divinity," Bedi said in her message.
Further, she said "teachings of the Holy Prophet inspire us to follow the values of peace, compassion, tolerance, love and service to the underprivileged."
The Chief Minister, his cabinet colleagues and Lok Sabha MP from Puducherry R Radhakrishnan also extended Milad-un-Nabi greetings to the people.
