Arsenal news: Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson makes Gunners vs Manchester United prediction

ARSENAL will beat Manchester United tomorrow (5.30pm).

That’s the verdict of Gunners legend and Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson, who’s also tipped his old side to secure a spot in the top four this season.

Arsenal sit fourth in the Premier League ahead of United’s visit to the Emirates having collected 28 points from their opening 14 games.

United, meanwhile, are four points and two places better off and take on Arsenal having won their last three top flight matches.

Merson reckons Arsenal have what it takes to overcome their bitter rivals as they look to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City.

"Arsenal's home record is frightening," Merson explained to Sky Sports, after predicting a 2-1 home win.

"They can go 'crash, bang, wallop' against anyone and the game is over in 10 minutes - like they did against Huddersfield.

"Raheem Sterling's goal against Southampton makes this game very interesting now as United have to win this game to keep City in view.
