TVS Motor November sales up 12 per cent at 251,965 units

NEW DELHI: TVS Motor Company today reported a 12 per cent increase in total sales at 2,51,965 units in November 2017.

The company had sold a total of 2,24,971 units in November 2016, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.

Total two-wheeler sales were at 2,43,323 units last month as against 2,19,088 units in November 2016, a growth of 11.1 per cent.

During the month, domestic two-wheeler sales increased 6.1 per cent to 2,03,138 units as against 1,91,499 units in the year-ago month, it added.

Motorcycle sales were at 93,202 units as compared to 67,896 units in November 2016, a growth of 37.3 per cent.

Scooter sales rose 7.2 per cent to 78,397 units in November as against 73,135 units in the same month last year, the company said.

Three-wheeler sales grew by 46.9 per cent to to 8,642 units as against 5,883 units in November 2016.

TVS Motor said its total exports grew 43.8 per cent in November at 47,207 units as compared with 32,829 units in the same month last year.
