The singer, who shot to fame as one fifth of girl group The Saturdays, has been competing in the BBC dance contest with partner AJ Pritchard.

She and the professional dancer have impressed the judges with their weekly improvements and have a guaranteed place in this weeks Quarter Finals.

But before Mollie was dazzling the viewers with her ballroom dances on the popular programme, she was part of a girl band called Fallen_Angelz.

In the clip from 2007, Mollie, 30, can be seen performing with her bandmates to their song Puppet at a bar in Soho, London.

The girls imitated puppets in a choreographed routine for a crowd of punters at the Peepshow event.

An energetic Mollie flipped her hair throughout the performance as she commanded attention on stage.

The group later auditioned for The X Factor the same year, but after failing to make it past the Bootcamp stage Mollie went on to join Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes and Vanessa White.

As part of the girl group The Saturdays, Mollie enjoyed chart success before they went their separate ways in 2014.

Now, she is a contestant on Strictly and will be performing a quickstep to Hello Dolly! for the show’s musical themed week.

The singer will face tough competition from the remaining celebrities Joe McFadden, Davood Ghadami, Alexandra Burke, Gemma Atkinson and Debbie McGee.
