Philippine President arrives in Riyadh

Riyadh: Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Riyadh on Monday evening.

At King Khalid International Airport, Duterte was received by Riyadh Emir Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ali Al-Ghafis, Riyadh Mayor Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Saudi Ambassador to the Philippines Abdullah Al-Baseeri and several officials and diplomats.

During the official visit, Duterte will hold wide-ranging talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, and other Saudi leaders.

The president will also meet the Filipino community members in the Kingdom.
During the regional tour that will also take him to Bahrain and Qatar,
Duterte’s talks will focus on attracting more investments from these states as well as on serving the interests of over one million Filipinos working in the region.
