Disney sues Redbox for selling digital movie codes

Redbox has started selling digital movie codes to Disney movies, and the studio is having none of it. The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) is suing the movie rental company for copyright infringement, among other things, and seeking an injunction to stop Redbox from reselling the codes, plus Redbox’s profits from the sales or damages up to $150,000 per infringement.
