Man to face trial next year accused of pushing commuter in path of Tube train
A MAN faces trial next year accused of attempting to murder a man by pushing him into the path of a Tube train.

The 55-year-old victim was seriously injured when the westbound District Line train ran over him at Bayswater Underground Station in central London on November 2.
Alan Alencar, 29, is alleged to have approached the man from behind and shoved him in the back with both hands as the vehicle pulled into the platform at around 5pm.
Despite the driver applying the brakes, commuter Alain Lesjongard was still hit.
He managed to crawl out from underneath the carriage and was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The defendant, of Northcote Street, Edinburgh, is alleged to have walked away after pushing the man.
During a hearing at the Old Bailey on Friday the case was adjourned until January 26, with a trial date set for April 23.
Wearing a grey tracksuit jumper and with thick black curly hair and a beard, he spoke to confirm his name, age and nationality as British.
No plea was entered during the short hearing.
