J&K MLAs meet Kejriwal, seek details on initiatives

A delegation of legislators called on Chief Minister Kejriwal on Friday and sought details about his government's initiatives in the fields of education and health, an official statement said.

The team of members from the Legislative Assembly Ethics Committee met Kejriwal at the Secretariat here, according to the statement.

"The visiting MLAs asked the Chief Minister about the implementation of free medicines and diagnostic tests scheme in hospitals," it said.

Led by Committee Chairman Abdul Rahim Rather, the delegation also visited schools and met Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel.

"The visiting delegation expressed a keen interest in how the is sustaining this public welfare measure and how it is coping with the rush at its hospitals."
