Turnover on NSE's F&O segment drops

The December 2017 traded at 10143.75, a premium of 21.95 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10121.80 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment dropped to Rs 4.41 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 15 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the 50 index declined 104.75 points or 1.02% to settle at 10,121.80.

Reliance Industries (RIL), State Bank of India (SBI), Tata Global Beverages, Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) and Tata Steel were the top traded individual stock contracts in F&O segment of RIL December 2017 traded at 913.35, at a premium over spot closing of 909.50. SBI December 2017 traded at 314.15, at a premium over spot closing of 312.90.

Tata Global Beverages December 2017 traded at 285.20, at a premium over spot closing of 284. DHFL December 2017 traded at 602, at a premium over spot closing of 601. Tata Steel December 2017 traded at 681.60, at a premium over spot closing of 680.95.

The December 2017 F&O contracts expire on 28 December 2017.
